NewStar Design Awards (2015)
After completing my Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design (with Honours) at Monash University, I entered my work in the NewStar Design award - an Australia-wide award showcasing excellence in young emerging designers across multiple disciplines. I was honoured to not only be shortlisted, but to receive the award in recognition of my designs from Monash University.
As part of the award, I was given the opportunity to visit an international design studio anywhere in the world for 2 weeks.
I ended up choosing to visit TEAGUE in Seattle, USA.
Young Furnishing Technologist of the Year Award (2010)
Upon completing my Diploma of Furnishing Technology at RMIT (TAFE), I was awarded the Victorian Furnishing Industry “Young Furnishing Technologist of the Year” award for my bamboo ‘Squash’ Coffee Table (below).
